Project Overview
SanCap360 was developed to provide a comprehensive view of community health across Sanibel and Captiva. While valuable data existed across numerous organizations, agencies, and departments, it was often difficult to access, compare, and understand in a single place.
Hammerhead Technology partnered with the Charitable Foundation of the Islands (CFI) and community stakeholders to design and develop a centralized platform that brings together key indicators from across the islands. By integrating data into one intuitive experience, SanCap360 supports transparency, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making for residents, nonprofits, businesses, and local leaders.
Community data was scattered across multiple organizations and systems.
This created several challenges:
Information existed in silos.
Community trends were difficult to identify.
Organizations often relied on static reports that quickly became outdated.
Hammerhead designed and developed SanCap360 as a centralized digital platform that connects community information through interactive dashboards, GIS mapping, and visual storytelling.
The platform combines data from multiple organizations into an accessible, user-friendly experience that helps users explore trends, understand community conditions, and support collaborative planning.

By bringing together indicators from multiple organizations, the platform improves transparency, strengthens collaboration, and supports data-informed decision-making across environmental, economic, infrastructure, and community wellbeing initiatives.
Since launch, SanCap360 has become the pilot implementation of Hammerhead Technology’s Hub360 platform, demonstrating how connected information can improve community understanding and collaboration.
The platform enables organizations to share meaningful data in a consistent, accessible format while providing residents and decision-makers with greater visibility into the factors shaping the community. As new indicators and participating organizations are added, SanCap360 continues to evolve as a long-term resource for measuring community health and supporting strategic planning.
